Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document
For the public benefit to promote the education of young people in Ghana by awarding scholarships, maintenance allowances or grants to support further or higher education. To provide and prepare learners for entry into an occupation, trade or profession on leaving full time school and assist in developing life skills needed for independent living.

All trustees of Learning For Life Ghana are volunteers and do not receive any financial remuneration for their efforts in achieving the aims of the charity.
The FCDO project 'Tools For Teachers' was completed this year.

The project trained 180 Ghanaian teachers in how to support children with SEN in their classroom. The training was from a literacy perspective and gave guidance, advice and resources to each teacher. Local teachers engaged with delivering an extra workshop and establishment of local ‘hub teachers’ has made the training locally sustainable.

LFLG is presently supporting: 1 student at University 1 student completing WASSCE exams ! student in SHS 4 students in catering school 1 student in seamstress training 1 student following an apprenticeship in mechanical engineering 1 student following an apprenticeship in constructional engineering 2 students following an apprenticeship in electrical engineering 1 student training as a beautician 1 student on a driver training program 6 students studying a variety of computer courses Provided early years and primary classroom resources for several schools in the greater accra district.
Delivered a further 3 ‘Tools For Teachers’ training programs in Ghana for 90 teachers (making a total of 180 teachers trained).
Adjusted the delivery of the ‘Tools For Teachers’ program in light of the Covid 19 pandemic, producing training videos on line and carrying out final reviews via Zoom.
Tools For Teachers Project Completion Report submitted to FCDO. Collection of donated educational resources shipped to Ghana nd distributed to schools and young learners.
Detailed due diligence portfolio of learning For Life Ghana policies updated and signed by trustees.

The charity has raised donations from private donors and received grant Brief statement of the monies (see below) and this cash is distributed in support of charitable charity’s policy on reserves causes over the course of time with all UK charity personnel working on a voluntary basis. There are no other reserves.

During the financial year the charity received £5,330 in grant funding from FCDO towards the Tools For Teacher project – the funds were used (inter alia) principally to operate SEN training courses for teachers and undertake follow up reviews in conjunction with our Ghanaian partners, KCC.
The project is monitored on behalf of UK Aid via stringent regular reporting and grant money drawdown is carefully controlled by UK Aid.
The charity spent £8,633 on supporting specific students in Ghana through education, as outlined in more detail above.

Independent examiner's report to the Trustees of Leamlng For Llfe Ghana I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of Learning For Life Ghana I-LFLG") for the year ended 31$t March 2021. Responsibilities and basis of report As the charity trustees of LFLG you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act.). I report in respect of my examination of LFLG'S accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Direct¢ons given by the Charity commissio under section 145{5)(b} of the Act. Independent examinerfs statement I have completed my examination.
