Activities
The purpose of dsdfamilies is to promote good health and social inclusion of children with DSD (Differences of Sex Development) and to relieve the needs of children with DSD (and their families), through opportunities for greater engagement in activities, provision of educational resources and promotion of understanding and positive attitudes.
Objects: To Promote Good Health And Social Inclusion, Of Children With Dsd (Differences Ofsex Development), And To Relieve The Needs Of Children With Dsd And Theirfamilies, In Particularly, But Not Exclusively By:(i) Providing Opportunities For Children Living With Dsd To Engage Inactivities Which Promote Skill Development, Mental And Physicalwellbeing And Participation In The Local And Wider Community.(ii) Providing Opportunities For The Families Supporting Children To Meet Forsocial Support And Sharing Of Ideas And Resources(iii) Assisting In The Provision Of Educational Services, Equipment Andfacilities Not Normally Provided By The Statutory Authorities(iv) Promoting Understanding And A Positive Attitude Towards Dsd Withinthe Wider Community.
