Activities

The Scheme helps children with Additional Needs to attend a Pre-School Setting locally, in the County Borough of Conwy. It helps to integrate pre-school children with Additional Needs with their peers. The Scheme employs a coordinator who offers help, advice and support to the Pre-school setting and family. The scheme can also provide a grant to help pay for additional support in the setting.

Objects: To Promote The Social Inclusion For The Public Benefit By Working With Pre-School Children In Conwy Who Experience The Effects Of Poverty/deprivation, Who Are Excluded From Society, Or Parts Of Society, Due To Poor Educational Skills Attainment, And /Or Disability, To Relieve The Needs Of Such Children And To Assist Them To Integrate Into Society, In Particular By:1.providing Advice And Assistance To Pre-School Settings In Conwy To Enable Them To Include Such Children In The Groups;2.providing Financial Support To Pre-School Settings In Conwy To Employ Additional Support Workers To Assist Such Children;3.raising Public Awareness Of The Issues Affecting Children With Disabilities And Additional Needs, And Their Families;4.providing Workshops, Training And General Support To Pre-School Settings And Parents/guardians Of Pre-School Children In Conwy.
