**Objects:** (A) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION (PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY) OF THE RESIDENTS OF EAST LANCASHIRE IN THE AREAS OF AGRICULTURE, CONSERVATION, COUNTRY LIFE AND RELATED SUBJECTS.(B) TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE THROUGH THE PROVISION OF ACTIVITIES AND OPEN SPACE, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS, PARTICULARLY THOSE WHO HAVE NEED BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, POVERTY, SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES.

**Activities:** Pennine Lancashire Community Farm was established in February 2002 following the riots in Burnley, to use the medium of outdoor space to bring people together. Its central aims are to promote social inclusion, sustainability (of a community) and education.
