To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the area without distinction of sex, sexual orientation,
age, disabilty. nationality, race or political, religious or other, by associating together the said inhabtt-
ants and the statutory authorities. voluntary and other organisations in common effect to advan(E ed-
ucation and Provide the facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occu-
pation with the objective of improving the conditions of lrfe for the inhabitants.
To establish. or secure the establishment of a comrnunty centre and to maintsin and manage the
same (thether ak)ne or in cooperation with any statulory body or other persons or body) in the fuf-
therance of the objeclives.
To Promotè such other charitable purposes as may from timo to tlrne be determined.
The charity shall be non-paty in politics ano non-sectarian in religion. The area of benefit shall be
Bancroft Estate and the surrounding area of Tam*Y)rfh in general.
The trustees are responsible for k8eping records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at time the
financial position of the chartty to enable that the financial statements compw with th8 Charity Act
2011.
They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of Ihe charity and he￿￿ taking reasonable
steps for the prevention and deteclion of fraud and other i￿egUlar1tieS

Main Achievements during the year
During Ihe year the number of users of the centre has increased.
We ￿ntinue to offer food and drinks at reasonable pri￿S and provhle a safe and varm environment.
It is our aim during the next 12 months to continue to grow and increase the number of users.
We are now a place of welcome and are in the process of creating a cosy room ￿lere users will be
able to play dominoes, cards, bingo etc. Users will also be able to knit, sew, read etG. We are hoping
that this addition to our centre will be finished by Easter 2026.
There is an arts club that meet on a weekly basis ￿lch benefits several people from the communty.
We continue to offer an organised subsidised trip which is very popular with families and the highlight
of the year.
