The trusteeshaveadoptedtheprovisionsofAccountingandReportingbyCharities:Statement of RecommendedPracticeapplicabletocharitiespreparingtheiraccountsinaccordancewiththe Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective 1 January 2019). ``` ## **`OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES`** ## **`Objectives and aims`** ``` Toprovideorassistintheprovisionoffacilitiesintheinterestsofsocialwelfareforrecreationor other leisuretimeoccupationofthegameofcricketofindividualswhohaveneedofsuchfacilitiesbyreason of theiryouth,ageinfirmityordisability,financialhardship,orsocialcircumstanceswiththeobject of improving their conditions of life. ``` ## **`Main activities`** ``` Thecharityexiststoprovideaninclusiveopportunityfordisadvantagedpeopletoparticipateinthe game of cricket to make a positive difference to the community and the participants' health and well-being. ``` ## **`Public benefit`** ``` Insettingobjectivesandplanningactivitiesourtrusteeshavegivencarefulconsiderationtothe Charity Commission'sgeneralguidanceonpublicbenefitandinparticulartheadvancementofeducation,relief of poverty and the advancement of amateur sport. ``` ## **`ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE`** ## **`Charitable activities`** ``` Wehavecontinuedtodelivercharitableactivities-albeitatanattenuatedlevelfollowingCovidthough we are recovering well. ``` ``` WehavedeliveredCrickettastersessionstoprimaryschoolchildren;thesegivechildrenthe opportunity to try cricket and create opportunities for them to continue the sport at local clubs. ``` ``` We have delivered Cricket based activities to community groups catering for vulnerable young people. ``` ``` WehavedeliveredholidaycampsacrossthesummerandovertheChristmas/Easterholidays.These have focussedonchildrenwhoareentitledtofreeschoolmealsthoughotherchildrenarenotexcluded.
