ACHIEVEMEKf AND PERFORMAN'CE
Charitable activities
Through our Facebook page, website and hands on. we have helped the public of the TIiNC to neuter their animals
via a voucher scheme which has been set up with veis in the TRNC. on production of a voucher to the Vel, Ivhich they
get from H4P, the public pay half the cost of neuterino their cavdog. The voucher scheme is workivAg N'ery well.
We have advised owners on feedin& neutering and exercise of their pets and introduced them to the voucher scheme.
We have re-homed hundreds of stra) cats and dogs in the ThNC. We neuter all the animals we re-home and pay for this
in full, not through the voucher scheme.
TRNC has a large elderly UtUEuropean community. We have helped pet owners of any nationality relocating to the
U￿EUrOpe with advise, paperwork and rnising fvnds to get their pels to the UK and Europe.
We have advised the public: provided funding and taken Stray animals requiring vet treatment to be seen by the vet.
These include emergency treatrnent for road traffic accidents, treatment for dogs with behaviourdl problems, eye
problems and non-emergency treatment such as flealtick ￿eatMent.
We have reduced the number of doJ and cats roaming the streets. via neutering and re-homin?: this in turn h3s reduced
the number of casualties of road iraffic accidents 3nd the number of dogs being reported as attacking sheep and chickens
owned by the publi¢.
We have provided food to members of the public who feed large Dumbers of stray catsldogs. and again paid for
neutering of the animals when required.
We have provided Tho(NJen kennels for stray animals where they have no shelter and where there is a need.
Fundraising activities
H4P raised £56,275 in funds from a variety of different platfornis, GoFundMe, PayPal, Ea5vfundraising, and by selling
items sueh as promotional Calendars, Cards, and also donated items of bric a brac. We also hold social events in the
TRNC for ihe benefit of H4P, such &s dog shows and quiz nights.
H4P are slowly improvinu the Itves of the street animals of the TRNC, with vet care: shelters and food. We are also
removing the street xnimals via re-homing and reducinu the amount of puppies born on the slreets by neutering.
The number of sick and injured dog51cats being reported to us by the public is also slowly reducing.

FINANCIAL REVIEW
Reserves policy
Whilst Hope 4 Pets does not have a strict reserves policy. it does have reserves of £40,790 as at the year end 30th April
2023.
This level of reserves equates to approximately 7￿/0 of the funds rnised durino the financial period. ￿ThI15t this shows a
healthy level of reserves, the charitv's trustees believe thal these reserves will be needed for the future expenditure and
objeclives of the business as mentioned in the Objectives & Activities section of the Trustees Report.
These funds may also be needed for unexpected or unforeseen emergencies in which the charity will need cash readily
available.
The charity's income relies solely on donations and the sale of donated goods. The charity therefore belieiies that this
level of funds may help towards an unexpected drop in donations which could impact the charit) s activities.
