TAR
March 2012

A decent standard of education provided for childrèn within Kibera whose
parentslguardians would have otherwise struggled to provide the
necessary funds for the children to complete their primary and secondary
school education and furth8r education. The organisation aims to provide
the children under its sponsorship with the opportunity to shape their own
future by obtaining an education which is very much required in Kenya if
Ihey are to exit the 'pov6rty trap. which thos8 Wlthin Kibera generally
experience.
The direct beneficiaries of this organisation are the children within primary
and secondary school and higher education whose education is paid for.
The indirect beneficiaries are their families who can focus on providing
food and shelter for the children wilh the knowledge that their education
has beèn funded. Additionally. Kickslart Kibera hopes that other children
within Kibera will feel motivated and inspired by seeing their peers who
are from similar backgrounds to them, with the opportunity to advance
their education.
