Objectives:
For the public benefit, the relief and assistance of people in need, hardship or
distress in particular those individuals who may be suffering from psychological
or physical infirmity including but not by way of limitation through the
provision of social housing and other types of accommodation, support,
counselling, education and training in such parts of the United Kingdom and in
such ways as the trustees from time to time may think fit.
Ongoing work:
The charity continues to receive income from Birmingham City Council via
Housing Benefits. There is still significant backdated income to be received for_
previous years, but income for the year end 2024 is currently £171,569.61,
with all income going to cover our Operational service agreement that covers
our lease payments, staff payroll, maintenance, utility and service provision
costs our partners at Brook House.
Developments:

We continue to house 18 residents and the day to day relationship and support
of these men, have resulted in strong relationships being built with them, their
mental health teams and other support services. We continue to specialise in
helping and supporting men with mental health, drug and alcohol issues. The
partnership with Brook House, continues with the established team at Brook
House, who help to provide supported and secure accommodation for
vulnerable adults. Firm Foundation Accommodation was also registered with
Birmingham City Council back in 2022. In the coming years, we will be looking
to transfer Brook House staff and all related costs for managing the building to
be directly contracted and paid by Firm Foundations Accommodation.
