Firm Foundations Accommodation Reglstered Address: 3>35 South Road, Blrnilniham, B18 SNA Charlty Number 1169804 Trustee's Annual Report for the year-end to 31st March 2023 This is the fifth Trustees, Report for Firm Foundations Accommodation, which is registered with the Charity Commission (No. 1169804) Trustees: Joanna Ramdas-Harsia Edgar Chibaka Brian Baines Objectives: For the public benefit, the relief and assistance of people in need, hardship or distress in particular those individuals who may be suffering from psychological or physical infirmity including but not by way of limitation through the provision of social housing and other types of accommodation, support, counselling, education and training in such parts of the United Kingdom and in such ways as the trustees from time to time may think fit. Ongoing work: The charity has now started to receive income from Birmingham City Council and this will be backdated to 17/01/2022, in the coming months. Income for the year end 2023 is currently £147,348.96, with all income going to service our lease agreement with Brook House. Developments: We currently have 18 residents and the day to day relationship and support of these men, have resulted in strong relationships being built with them, their mental health teams and other support services. We specialise in helping and
supporting men with mental health, drug and alcohol issues. The partnership with Brook House, continues with the established team at Brook House, who to help to provide supported and secure accommodation for vulnerable adults. Firm Foundation was also registered with Birmingham City Council as an Exempt Housing Provider in 2022, with further back payments for housing benefits are expected in the coming months.
