Objectives:
For the public benefit, the relief and assistance of people in need, hardship or
distress in particular those individuals who may be suffering from psychological
or physical infirmity including but not by way of limitation through the
provision of social housing and other types of accommodation, support,
counselling, education and training in such parts of the United Kingdom and in
such ways as the trustees from time to time may think fit.
Ongoing work:
The charity has not been fully operational during this accounting period and
there has been no income nor any costs incurred during this period.
Developments:
We have identified and agreed to lease Brook House, a 27 bed hostel, based in
Birmingham. They specialise in helping and supporting men with mental health
issues, Firm Foundations will be able to partner with the established team at
Brook House, to help to provide supported and secure accommodation for
vulnerable adults initially in Birmingham and the plan is to support the

widening of the Brook House reach in the coming years. Firm Foundation was
also registered with Birmingham City Council as an Exempt Housing Provider in
2022.
