## **4. Achievements and Performance**

The Company staged two performances in 2025:

Murder At The Music Hall: - This was performed at the community-owned Greig Hall in Alcester. The show was a musical murder mystery whodunnit and gave a wide selection of the Company the chance to perform. The play was a lighthearted and comedic performance which was accessible to a broad audience and included songs from a variety of eras all set to the backdrop of an East End Music Hall. The show was performed in AMTC’s home town of Alcester at the Greig Hall which is community venue entirely run by local volunteers.

Grease – This iconic musical was performed at The Palace Theatre, Redditch, from 7th to the 11[th] October 2025. The main production was directed by Bev Hatton, with musical direction by Phil Radden and choreography by Naomi Beckford. It was very well attended and received positive audience and reviewer feedback, supporting the charity’s objectives.

The production of Grease really was a dream come true for many of our members who had wanted to perform this show since they were children. We received so much interest that initial rehearsals had to take place in a larger space in order to accommodate the extra people.

In addition to the above the Company performed Christmas Carols at Cherry Trees a local care home in Alcester. The trustees also organized several fundraising events including a quiz night and a skittles evening, and supported several local charity events including the Town Council Street Market and the Alcester Family Fun Day.
