## **Structure, Governance and Management** 

Don’t Hate Donate is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) governed by its constitution adopted on registration. The board of trustees meets regularly to ensure the charity is operating in accordance with its charitable objects and complies with relevant legislation and good governance practice. 

## **Objectives and Activities** 

The objects of the CIO are: 

For the public benefit to relieve and assist the victims of war, conflict, or natural disaster, particularly but not exclusively by providing humanitarian aid and support to affected individuals and communities in need, anywhere in the world. 

The charity aims to raise awareness and funds to provide direct relief to victims and to support community-led rebuilding efforts in the aftermath of crises. 

## **Achievements and Performance** 

During the year 2023–2024, Don’t Hate Donate continued to pursue its humanitarian objectives, raising funds and building relationships with local partners in affected regions. A donation of £500 was received and has been earmarked for emergency relief projects supporting displaced families. The trustees remain committed to ensuring all funds are used transparently and effectively for their intended purpose. 

## **Financial Review** 

The charity received a total of £500 in donations during the reporting period. The trustees confirm that no grants or major expenditures were made during this period, and the funds 



remain securely held in the charity's designated account for future deployment in line with the CIO’s aims. 

There were no salaries or remunerations paid to trustees. 

## **Reserves Policy** 

The trustees aim to maintain sufficient reserves to allow for flexible and rapid responses to humanitarian crises as they arise. Current reserves are minimal but will be held in full until an appropriate relief effort is identified and supported. 

## **Plans for the Future** 

Don’t Hate Donate will continue to raise awareness of humanitarian crises and seek donations to support those in urgent need. The trustees are currently exploring partnerships with grassroots organisations working in conflict zones and disaster-struck areas to ensure any future funds are used effectively.
