March 2012

The City of Liverpool Gymnastics Club is proposing an expansion of its
recreational programme through the addition of 12 Mini Gym classes and
8 Animal Academy dasses in response to increasing demand and
existing waiting lists. This development will create capacity for
approximately 200 additional participants, improving access to
gymnastics for children within the local community and supporting early
years development, physical health, confiden￿, and wellbeing. The
expansion will strengthen the club's development pathway from
recreational to squad level, while also contributing to its long-term
sustainability through increased participation and income generation.
This proposal aligns with wider objectives to increase community
engagement in physical activity and ensure inclusive, high-quality
provision for all.
