We have made efforts to<br>increase numbers by going out & talking to our<br>community. We are pleased to say that<br>numbers are now increasing weekly.<br>We also conducted a user survey & have a plan<br>in place to further strengthen contacts in the<br>area & increase number.<br>The Contingency plan that was put in place at<br>the start of the first lockdown has proved a<br>valuable &  important part of our future. The<br>community was reassured that moorland Star<br>provided & continues to provide a vital<br>provision in the area.<br>We were able to secure funding from various<br>agencies, that have continued to support us.<br>The introduction of longer opening times has<br>proved immensely popular as the rising cost of<br>living hits our community. The ‘free coffee &<br>chat’ provision allows our users to keep warm,<br>save fuel use in their homes & socialise with<br>their friends.<br>We have seized opportunities of picking up<br>surplus & waste food via the ‘neighbourly<br>scheme’, to pass on to our users thus helping<br>with their food bills.<br>We are proud that we were able to continue to<br>maintain our core aims & objectives through<br>continuing difficult times.|
