The Association is engaged<br>with BwD Borough Council for a lease for<br>the land to build the Boathouse.A separate<br>Access agreement is currently being negotiated<br>with United Utilities the reservoir owners.<br>**Spade Mill Building**there have been funding<br>for a new hand winch to launch and recover<br>heavy boats and purchase of a new outboard<br>motor for the safety boat. In addition United<br>Utilities have granted permission to make<br>improvements to the gate entrance. The<br>Association is now looking at sources of<br>fundingfor these works.|||

Our annual programme<br>of activities include:-<br>Managing and operating our dedicated water<br>sports centres at**Fishmoor**(Blackburn) &<br>**Spade Mill**(Longridge) reservoirs. These<br>venues were open between March and Oct for<br>our members to allow small groups of Young<br>People (YP) to enjoy water activities e.g.<br>paddling and sailing.<br>**NB – ‘Waterdays’**our annual watersports<br>weekend for circa 250 YP was held on 20/21 st<br>July 2024 on Lake Coniston  .<br>New**Fishmoor Boathouse**fundraising during<br>2024/25 did not progress further however with<br>planning fees this now stands at £3,576 we<br>intend to use towards further planning &<br>building costs.<br>**Spade Mill Building**sailing improvements were<br>completed during 2024/25 with the<br>completion of the safety boat SB3<br>refurbishment.|
