|Summary ofthe main<br>achievements<br>ofthe charity<br>during the year||As the seventh year ofoperation<br>it was the objective ofthe Trustees to<br>continue to increase awareness<br>ofthe charity, attract in further<br>godparents,<br>and raise sufficient funds to ensure the sustainability<br>ofthe<br>charity. As a consequence<br>ofa significant<br>increase<br>in fund raising<br>activity|
|||from a combination<br>ofevents and attracting<br>in new godparents,<br>we are|
|||delighted<br>to report that we successfully<br>raised more than 850,000.This is|
|||significantly<br>higher than<br>in any previous year.|
|||Event activity has increased —a charity<br>ball was held in Framlingham<br>in|
|||July, and a donor undertook a sponsored<br>sky dive to raise funds. Further|
|||fund-raising<br>events are being planned to be held<br>in 2024.|
|||An additional<br>Trustee,<br>Kevin Pocock, joined the Board during the year,|
|||and one ofthe founder Trustees departed<br>the Board towards the end of|
|||2023.|
|||Based on the experiences ofthis year ofactivity the Trustees are|
|||confident that the experiences<br>learned<br>will lead to a successful<br>eighth|
|||year ofoperations.|
