|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|Following on from the activities and<br>achievements listed above, the projects we<br>have undertaken have helped, we estimate<br>this period 1,000 people.<br>This is by means of food, access to<br>medical equipment and services, hygiene<br>packs, provision of aid and equipment for<br>projects in the countries listed above.<br>The projects and appeals either meet a<br>very basic need (as per Maslow’s hierarchy<br>of needs) and others (sewing projects in<br>Athens, or having toys and games are<br>about learning, therapy, education which<br>build upon these basic needs. In numerous<br>cases items provided (food and medical)<br>have saved lives. The message of<br>solidarity and hope is also psychologically<br>important, especially where some groups<br>or communities feel the world has forgotten<br>them, e.g The Yezidi community in Iraq<br>after the ISIS genocide.<br>Having undertaken a number of awareness<br>events, talks and being part of local<br>networks has allowed us to engage our<br>local community and wider as to the<br>refugee crisis.|

Review of the charity’s  Para 1.21  The period opened with £12,677 in the<br>financial position at the end  bank and £99 in petty cash.<br>of the period<br>£16,413 came in to the bank.<br>£23,281 was spent in the period on aid and<br>assistance projects as detailed above and<br>in line with our purposes as set out in the<br>UAREUK constitution.<br>At the end of the financial year there was<br>£5,856 in the bank account and £51 in<br>petty cash the end of the period.<br>Statement explaining the  Para 1.22  We aim to hold £500 in reserve.
