What the Shed Foundation does
'I'he %hed F'oundation exists to sUp￿rt the work of the Shed facility, it's
workshops and outreach work. The objecLS of the Shcd Foundation are:

The core Shed activitie
The Main Shed Building:
In nonnal non pandemiL time& this provides a Conlinuo￿s 5- 6 day
programmc of accredited Icarning in sports, crafL dram4 ar¢ dance,
mmunily and cnv ironmLnt21 activitics. (kcasional outd(K>r other
VLnucs are used. In this a reduced numkr of students attended on a
wcckly basis and but D]any more w"cr¢ att¢nd¢d an outreach b(￿15.

Cliarity Aid Foundation Bank. This facilitated thc appointmcnt of new

th Is rcport clearly indicdl¢ arcas of expenditure and SOu￿e$ of incomL.
Achievements:
This period has been dominated by thc pandemic. This has curtailed the
opportunities for thc Foundation 10 build on it's events and fimdraising
efivrts. Neverthclcss some eood pro¥ress has been madc. Thc fundraising
PdrtnLrship with a local liLenscc has yielded useful cxtra inLomc and h&s
I"urthvr raised thc profil¢ ul.thc Shed. Foundation support kn the studenLS
hds included personal activitics such as cooking and d¢coratin& woodwork
activiliLs ￿)d th¢ provision of software .

Prior to th¢ IvLkdoThTA a numbcr of initiatives knok place with ncw parincrs.
Sponsorship f()r laptops was obtsined from a local supennarkct and
legacics and donations obtsincd. A major sponsored cycle ridc in
conjunction with a local public house was the most Si￿11fill￿t cvcnt

placed fimdraising effort. "I'he Shed's donated Minibus needed replaLing
urgcntly and thc "I rustccs wcrc ablc to support significantly the purch&8e of
a new model.
'I'he 'l'rustccs met regularly prior to lockdown. When this w&s curtailcd
contacts and decision were made digitally.
