Achievements and performance

Dobermann Rescue U.K & Europe rescues and rehomes abandoned, mistreated and unwanted Dobermanns. We have built up a relationship with many pounds - that we assist with in rehoming - and with the general public.

During this period, we have rehomed 62 dogs into wonderful homes where they continue to thrive.

We held 1 open day as a fundraising event for the public to enjoy and raise awareness about the Dobermann breed and our charity.

Our assets include 2 laptops that are used for rescue related work, a van and some kennel heaters.

Most of our income has been from donations and fundraising. We have had a successful year with outgoings mostly focusing on kennelling, vet care and transportation.

Our volunteers hold regular fundraisers for us and charity online auctions when possible. We are registered with PayPal Giving Fund, JustGiving, GoFundMe, Charities Trust, Easyfundraising and eBay for Charity.

Independent examiner's report to the trustees of Dobermann Rescue U.K & Europe CIO Charity Reg no 1169697

I report to the charity trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above Dobermann Rescue U.K & Europe CIO, for the year ended 31st August 2024, which are set out on pages 8 to 9.

Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner

As the charity trustees of the CIO you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’).

It is my responsibility to:

examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act;

to follow the procedures laid down in the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section • 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act; and

to state whether any particular matters have come to my attention.

Basis of independent examiner’s report

My examination was carried out in accordance with the general directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and fair view' and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.

Independent examiner's statement

The trustees have prepared income and expenditures accounts showing donations and funds received in the period of £86,616 All transaction were recorded on timely basis, digitally and proper book keeping were kept to support any payments made and received with narrations.

In connection with my examination, no material matter have come to my attention, other than that referred to in the above paragraph;

which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in, any material respect;

· the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act or

· the accounts do not accord with the accounting records • the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached
