New trustees are elected by an existing trustee vote. ## Section C Objectives and activities For the benefit of the public to relieve the suffering of Dobermann dogs in need of care and attention by placing them in kennels or foster homes until a permanent home is found. Medical and other care given to the dogs in our care. Dogs are adopted out to suitable homes under our contracts and charity terms and conditions. ## Section D Achievements and performance Dobermann Rescue U.K & Europe rescues and rehomes abandoned, mistreated and unwanted dogs. We have built up a relationship with many pounds who we assist with in rehoming as well as from the public. During this time period we have rehomed 101 dogs into wonderful homes where they continue to thrive. We held 1 open day at the kennels as a fundraising event for the public to enjoy and raise awareness about the dobermann breed and our charity. Our assets include 2 laptops that our administrators use for rescue related work, a chest freezer for food storage, one van and a shed for storage. The majority of our income has been from donations and fundraising. We have had a successful year with outgoings mostly focusing on kennelling, vet care and transportation. We hold monthly prize draws to keep a steady flow of donations coming in. Our members also hold fundraisers for us and we hold a charity online auction when possible. We are also members of Amazon Smile, EasyFundraising and Ebay for charities. ## Section E Financial Review The charity has 1 bank account with Lloyds and 2 Paypal accounts to receive donations and to make payments to suppliers. Monies received in Paypal accounts are transferred to the bank account in a timely manner. **£3,024**| ||||| Page 4 of 5 ## _**Independent examiner's report to the trustees of Dobermann Rescue U.K & Europe CIO Charity Reg no 1169697**_ I report to the charity trustees on my examination of the accounts of theabove CIO for the year ended 31st August 2021, which are set out on pages 3 to 4. ## _**Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner**_ As the charity trustees of the CIO you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’). It is my responsibility to: - examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act; • to follow the procedures laid down in the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act; and - to state whether any particular matters have come to my attention. ## _**Basis of independent examiner’s report**_ My examination was carried out in accordance with the general directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and fair view' and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below. ## _**Independent examiner's statement**_ The trustees have prepared receipts and payments accounts showing donations received in the period of £104973 All transaction were recorded on timely basis, digitally and proper book keeping were kept to support any payments made and received with narrations. In connection with my examination, no material matter have come to my attention, other than that referred to in the above paragraph; which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in, any material respect; - accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act or - the accounts do not accord with the accounting records have not been met I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached Mr Rashid JALAL _**[(FCCA) ]**_ Fellow of Association of Chartered Certified Accountant _(ACCA)_ Date: **16-Jun-22** Page 5 of 5
