TRUSTEES’ ANNUAL REPORT (CONT'D) FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2024

Core Financial Commitments Rental payments continue to represent a substantial portion of our expenditure. An average of £250 per month has been maintained to cover administrative fees. Payments for Norton Antivirus, Barnsley Business Rates, safeguarding training, and the Zoom subscription were all met in line with annual requirements.

Youth Ministry and Engagement Youth engagement has expanded rapidly with the appointment of a Youth Pastor and the establishment of a cnonsistent group of approximately 50 young people attendig services. To support this, the Church funds regular breakfasts and lunches, which not only encourage attendance but also provide opportunities for young people to invite friends outside the congregation.

Highlights include: February 2024: A youth meeting, including a trip to Superbowl and KFC, which was highly successful. April 2024: continued youth breakfasts and lunches, safeguarding training for leaders.

Benevolent support Our benevolent programme continues to provide vital assistance to individuals and families unable to meet basic needs. This monthly initiative involves members of the congregation purchasing food, baby supplies and other essentials directly from supermarkets to support those in need.

Key events and initiatives March 2024: women's meeting with catering provided by the Church

March 2024: dance skirts purchased(£86) for the Easter Festival, which have since been reused at multiple events. May 2024: attendance at the RCCG Ordained Ministers Conference by Pastor in Charge (£609). May 2024: acquisition of a new printer for the media team to enable in-house production of worship sheets and related materials. June 2024: significant electrical works undertaken.

June 2024: worship team appreciation dinner, organised by Lead Worshiper and funded by the Church. July 2024: a highly successful Fun Day at the Pastor's residence, including children's activities, face painting, and a marquee. This event drew strong participation, incurred considerable cost, but delivered spiritual impact with souls saved. October 2024: "One Night with the King” event, with the Church covering snacks and transport costs. October 2024: procurement of new guitar, event speaker, and hotel accommodation totaling £656.

TRUSTEES’ ANNUAL REPORT (CONT'D)

FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2024

December 2024: Carol Service at Fairway, Dodworth, Barnsley. Due to capacity constraints at our venue, the event Incurred a rental cost of £637 plus a further £750 in related costs. These were partially offset by £305 in offerings collected on the day.

Despite the financial demands of landlord obligations and rising activity costs, the Church has strategically invested in growth, outreach, and benevolence. Our focus on youth ministry, community engagement, and the welfare of the less fortunate has not only strengthened the congregation but also advanced our mission, with tangible spiritual outcomes.

They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity, hence taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
