Achievements and perforniance
During 2023 Vbfrite Gold Comwall supported
over 150 Children, yourKJ p80ple and young
adults throughout Cornwall. This year we
have seen the number of referrals re￿iVed
increase by a larger margin than we have in
our previous years post Covid. The type of
referrals recewed have been largely due to an
increase in young people needing support
with their mental heafth challenges.

charity's work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefrts to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20
Again, we have seen an increase in referrals
th no access to funding. As a growing
charity we have been fortunate to have been
able to fund Such referrals by donations,
fundraising and grants, enabling all that need
help to re￿1ve it.
Due to the increase in referrals, we have
strengthened our team of experienced
engagement workers working throughout
Comwall, from Plymouth to penzan￿. Wrth
the increase in our workforce, we have been
able to support throughout the County and we
have more flexibility to manage this.
We are always actlvely seeklng to recruit new
Trustees. In October 2023 appointed a
new admin assistant to assist the team due to
the increase in referrals being received as a
charity.

We continue to partner with organisations
such as Cornwall Community Foundation

for those young people who are referred to us
without fundlng.
In 2023 we were the nominated Charity of
The Year wrth Truro Golf Club and received
large donation in January 2024. This, along
with other generous donations has given the
charty a generous amount of funds to help
parents and carers of young people who do
not have any source of fijnding.
We are now becoming more recognrsed in the
community and receiving publicity along with
donations.
We wrrently hold funds in easy aC￿sS bank

considering longer notice period accounts to
