|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|• Habitat management work included work at<br>13 sites<br>• Delivered events to engage with the public:<br>Bioblitzes (24-hour wildlife surveys) at East<br>Beckham Common in May and at Wood Norton<br>and Hindolveston Surveyors’Allotments in<br>June. These were aOended by local residents<br>and other members of the public. AOended<br>wildlife events and gave presentaPons to<br>various groups to engage with and inform the<br>public about Felbeck Trust’s work and goals<br>• Regular species monitoring of birds, plants,<br>buOerfies and invertebrates  carried out at our<br>sites by visiPng experts. The Felbeck Trust<br>Ringing Group. was established. Ringing takes<br>place at a number of Felbeck Trust sites under<br>the aegis of the BriPsh Trust for Ornithology,<br>• Carried out several fundraising events<br>including a folk concert in June 2024 and<br>‘Nature, Climate and the Church of England:<br>the Bishop of Norwich in ConversaPon with<br>Nick Acheson' in March 2025.The laOer also<br>served to spread the word about the work that<br>Felbeck Trust carries out.<br>• At the Norfolk Biodiversity Awards in<br>September 2024, Felbeck Trust won the<br>‘Groups’award while two of our sites - Sustead<br>and West Beckham Old Allotments were joint<br>runners-up in their‘Spaces for Nature’<br>category.<br>• Close working links conPnued with RSPB<br>OperaPon Turtle Dove, conPnuing progress<br>on making West Beckham Old Allotments<br>more suitable for aOracPng breeding Turtle<br>Dove. CollaboraPon with other local<br>landowners who are parPcipaPng in the<br>OperaPon Turtle Dove scheme.<br>• ConPnued to contribute to the NaPonal Trust<br>Riverlands project, including water quality<br>tesPng.<br>• Facilitated Corporate Volunteer days with<br>Marsh Insurance, Norwich, student volunteer<br>Pme with Gresham’s School, and volunteer<br>a`ernoons with North East Norfolk<br>ConservaPon Volunteers<br>• Produced four NewsleOers, circulated to 240<br>email addresses, a blog and a website to keep<br>partners, supporters, volunteers and<br>collaborators abreast of the Trust’s work &<br>~~achievements~~|

Many funders remain<br>focused on grants to alleviate poverty.<br>Competition for less overall funding is now<br>greater for conservation projects.  Very,<br>very few funding opportunities exist to help<br>with essential running costs (insurances,<br>web presence, venue hire for meetings,<br>etc.).<br>Money was raised by organising several<br>social events drawing on local connections<br>and communities which also serves to raise<br>the profile of the work of the Trust.|

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity ('the Trust") for the year ended 31 March 2025
Responsibilities and
basis of report
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
("the Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent I have completed my examination, I confirm that no material matters have
examiner's ststement come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me
cause to believe that in, any material respect:
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130
of the Charities Act., or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements
concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities
(Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement
that the accounts give a 'true and fair, view which is not a matter
considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection
with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in
order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
