||||||be undertaken<br>by volunteers<br>working alone.|
||||||The mental<br>and physical<br>health benefits of|
||||||continuing<br>this conservation<br>work in line|
||||||with Government<br>restrictions<br>during the|
||||||pandemic<br>were that local residents were|
||||||able to continue<br>daily outdoor exercise and|
||||||our volunteers<br>benefitted<br>also from exercise|
||||||in natural<br>surroundings.<br>Continuing<br>species|
||||||monitoring<br>helped chart progress against|
||||||our aim of improving<br>previously<br>neglected|
||||||sites for the benefit of wildlife and nature.|
