Para 1.20 | 1. We continued to investigate the geochemistry of flints found in our area in collaboration with staff from the British Geological Survey, 2. The charity is managed by a board of Trustees who have had regard to the Charity Commissioners guidance on safeguarding and public benefit. The finances, which are considered satisfactory, are carefully controlled but did not, this year, require an independent examination. 3. We continue to engage with other charities with sites known to have been visited by Late Upper Palaeolithic hunter-gatherers, which, together with a site which we have investigated, are all within the basin of the river Trent. |
