We also started a new<br>collaborative project, with staff from<br>the British Geological Survey,<br>investigating the geochemistry of the<br>flint from previous excavations.<br>2. The charity is managed by a board of<br>Trustees who have had regard to the<br>Charity Commissioners guidance on<br>safeguarding and public benefit.  The<br>finances, which are considered<br>satisfactory, are carefully controlled<br>but did not, this year, require an<br>independent examination.<br>3. Our present focus is to engage with<br>two other charities with sites known<br>to have been visited by Late Upper<br>Palaeolithic hunter-gatherers, which,<br>together with a site which we have<br>investigated, are all within the<br>watershed of the river Trent.|
