## VSIP TRUSTEES REPORT 2023.
Due to severe time restraints on the part of the trustees, activity in the generation of donations has ground to a halt.
For the next year we are considering purchasing a mailing list of likely donors and then ‘blitzing’ them with a suitably worded request for donations.
An approach has been made to us to use the services of telephone canvassing operatives. We are investigating the legal and legislative implications of using such a service.
Street collections are now very poorly supported due to lack of small change in purses and pockets and the advances in credit card use.
If one or both of the above fund raisers are successfully implemented I can foresee a resumption of donations to our main beneficiary.
