## Aims and objectives.
Cheltenham Powerchair Football Club aims to provide a club which facilitates recreational and competitive powerchair football opportunities for people with a physical or learning disability. We are determined to continue growing as a club, being able to provide specialized powerchairs, equipment, coaching and support for people with disabilities in Gloucestershire.
The club is committed to providing a development pathway within the county and facilitating participants of all ability levels.
## Activities and achievements during the year
This year a strong aim was to upskill and grow our volunteer base. We were successfully able to achieve it with family members wanting to get more involved with the organisation and the sessions we deliver which we have been able to put through some training and further development is still to be done. This has increased the sustainability of the sessions and reduces the reliance on our lead coaches, ensuring we can still deliver the targeted number of sessions over the year as there is a clear and effective contingency plan.
Our development pathway has shown great success in the last year with the new team made up of young people who had previously been in our development sessions and up through the pathway have begun their journey into the national championship which is a great achievement for the organisation and a sign that the pathway is working.
## Future plans
As an organisation in the next year, we want to really strengthen the social aspect, we want to have more meet ups to further increase the social side of things. We also are looking at a way to encourage further socialising at the end of sessions. With more new faces every year we feel the continuous strive towards social opportunities is very important alongside continuing to grow the sessions and the impact they have.

Report to the Trustees on the Examination of the Accounts
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of Cheltenham Powerchair Football Club (“the Charity”) for the year ended 10 October 2025.
Responsibilities and Basis of Report
As the charity trustees of the Charity, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Charity’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the Act. In carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
## Independent Examiner’s Statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that, in any material respect:
1. accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act; or
2. the accounts do not accord with those records; or
3. the accounts do not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008, other than any requirement that the accounts give a “true and fair” view, which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
