By the grace of our tA)rd Jesu5 Christ, w¢ passed through another challenging but frnIt￿l year. It was a very sad o¢¢asion ¢0 vacate Clementswood Baptist Church at end of January 2024 after worshiping in that premis¢s for over 24 years. But we thank God for Hi5 prov15ion and allowing us io continue our ministry in Go¢)dmayes Baptist Church without interruption to our Sunday morning and aftemoon Services and other activities. Despite the la¢k of space and lime limitations at Goodmayes Baprist Church. our main Sunday services, youth s¢rvic¢s and Sunday school classe5 took place regularly. We had to make several adjustments to this ¢hange. As usua], our Sunday services were Ilvestreamed for the benefit of member5 who were unable to att¢nd in person. Weekly. monthly and fortnighily men, women, youth and collective prayer meetings and Bibl¢ studies took place in person as well as on Zoom during this period. Furth¢rnior¢, special services such as Good Friday, E￿Ier Sunday, Christmas Carols & Eve strvices, and N¢w Y¢ar' Eve service all took place in the ehur¢h building which drew marty new people. Durin8 the abov¢-m¢ntioned y¢ar, generous givin8 of tithe5 & offerings from members slowly but steadily increased. We were able to suppon various ministries acros5 the world partieularly in Indi4 Sri Lank4 Irtdonesii 15rael. Greece. Lebanon. UK et¢. The beneficiaries of our support wer¢ mainly victims of war, natural disasters, fam5ne. and persecution. We were able to donaie over £8,500 10 su¢h mirtlstries. I would like to thank God for all the membe who generously Contributed to these mission works to fulfil the Royal Command of the Lord Jesus Chrisi. Jesus said.. "You must love th¢ Lord your God with all your heart. all your soul. and all your mind. This is the first and gr¢at¢st commandment. A second is equally important.. Love your neighbour yourself." _ Matthew 22..37-39 In July 2023 we organi5cd a Church family beach ovting. Close to 100 members took part with some new people. Whi15t enjoying various games and activities we did outreach ministry by distributing Christian tracts and literature. On 17 September 2023 we planted our ECF- Ilf(>rd Athens branch in Greece. The members of this brdnch. around 30 in total. are Buddhist and Catholic converts. This started with a vision of rea¢hing out to the G￿k nation (hrough Ihis ministry. We also had the joy of bapt15in8 five of our Youth Chureh member5 in November 2023. In March 2024 we relaunched our EmmaDuel Royals Football Club for the young men of our Youth chU￿h and iheir friends. Along with thaL we started weekly badminton sessÈons for the young women of our Youth Church. This 15 the twenty fourth annivers￿ of ECF- Ilford.
