The Sandcastle Trust walks alongside families living with a rare genetic condition to help build lasting positive family memories, strengthen family relationships, improve emotional wellbeing and resilience.

Objects: For The Public Benefit, The Relief Of Sickness Of Those With A Rare Genetic Condition And In Particular To Help And Support Families Living Within The UK Whereby A Member Or Members Of That Family Have Been Diagnosed With A Rare Genetic Condition. Particular Emphasis Is Placed On Enhancing Their Family Life By(but Without Limitation):(a) The Provision Of Accessible Holidays;(b) The Provision Of Accessible Day Trips;(c) The Provision Of Grants To Assist Families Plan Their Own Accessible Family Holiday;(d) Assisting In The Provision Of Care For The Individual(s) With The Genetic Condition Whilst On Theholiday/day Trip If Required;(e) Respite For Carers Either By Way Of A Grant, Holiday Or Day Trip Away From Their Caring Role; And(f) The Provision Of Support And Information On Accessible Holidays Generally To Families Affected By Raregenetic Conditions.
