Summary of the main  Para 1.17 and  RENOVATING RESTORING,<br>1.19<br>activities in relation to  ENHANCING AND<br>those purposes for the PRESERVING THE<br>public benefit, in<br>FEATURES, CONTENTS,<br>particular, the<br>ARCHITECTURE AND<br>activities, projects or<br>services identified in  GROUNDS OF THE CHURCH<br>the accounts. AND CHAPEL OF THE<br>RESURRECTION<br>As part of the “St Peters Grounds<br>Re-Imagined” project which was<br>started in 2020 and completely<br>cleared the grounds of overgrown<br>shrubs and nettles/brambles etc<br>and re-planted various areas with<br>bee and butterfly friendly plants,<br>together with a cherry tree alee,<br>an on-going maintenance program<br>at no cost now provides a day each<br>week where various folk meet to<br>continue the planting and<br>maintenance that this huge site<br>requires. Local residents, members<br>of the Bournemouth Rotary Club,<br>members of the church community<br>and public have come together to<br>work and many friendships have<br>formed and thus support been<br>given and received.<br>The report commissioned by the<br>trustees and paid for by the Project<br>with specialist aerial stonemasons<br>Vitruvius identified the tower and<br>spire restoration work needed. This<br>repair work has been the subject of<br>a fundraising campaign. At year<br>end a grant of £25,000.00 had<br>been awarded by the National<br>Churches Trust and a further grant<br>of £10,000 from the Wolfram Trust.<br>The rope access only work on the<br>spire was completed in September<br>2022 at a cost of £13,348.62<br>Statement confirming  Para 1.18 The trustees have had regard to<br>whether the trustees  the guidance for the public benefit,<br>**----- End of picture text -----**<br>

The graves are<br>now visible and tended for.<br>The rest of the repairs to the tower<br>and spire are scheduled for<br>Summer 2023 -restoring this<br>building’s external stonework to its<br>former glory and will be secured<br>by the lighting and cameras<br>protecting it.<br>**----- End of picture text -----**<br>
