Activities
We support families in Sheffield in the perinatal period, acting upon their feedback and using it to offer support that is needed and will be used.We inform and educate families and also the community on maternity issues with a focus on perinatal mental health. We raise awareness and offer signposting so parents can access the wide level of help that is available in Sheffield but often unknown.
Objects: The Object Of The CIO Is To Promote And Preserve Good Health Among Parents And Children Living In Sheffield And The Surrounding Area, In Particular But Not Exclusively By: A) Providing Information, Advice, Support And A Signposting Service To Parents During Pregnancy, Childbirth, The Postnatal Period And Early Parenthood. B) Working With Statutory Bodies And Healthcare Professionals To Assist In Improvement In The Provision Of Maternity And Maternity-Related Health Services.
