Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the main The Secchi Disk Foundation continued to expand the achievements of the charity global reach of the Secchi Disk study this year including during the year carrying out important updates to the Secchi App and a new version of the mobile iOS app stores. Particular focus was on expansion into high latitudes with increasing engagement of the public on tourist Expedition Cruises. Social media influencers were also recruited to participate in the study to raise the public profile. As a result of its activities, the Foundation continues to engage the public through citizen science to provide a greater understanding of the marine ecosystem for the public good.
