The goveming body of the Methodist Church is the Conference which meets once every year. The authority under which the conference acts is given by the Melhodisl Church Act 1976. The Methodist Circuits whose incomes exceeded £1 Ook for the year ended 31st August 2007 were required to register with the Ch8rily Commission. The 2006 Charities Act came into force in November 2006. Our registered charity number is 1169392 following re-regislration with the charity commission and the filing of the accounts for previous years. Property matters were discussed in the leadership meetings as well as at the circuit Iruslees meetings. Establishing an inclusive circuit identity, which helps deploy resources - property, finance and people- to enable laylordained leadership and realise the mission and priorities of the circuiL Su erlntendent Re ort: The Wembley Circuit was delighted lo welcome the Revd Kido Baek and his family. The Circuit Wekome Service took place in September 2024, with the pre8cher being District Chair. the Revd Dr Jongikaya Zihle. We were gr8lefiJl for Dr Zihle's ministry among us once 8gain. A Circuit Walchnighl Service was held on 31 December 2024 al Park Lane Melhodist Church at 11pm, marking the final hour of 2024 and the first hour of 2025. The servlce was well supported by churches acr05S the Circuit. To mark the Lent and Easter season in Mareh 2025, the Circuit held an Ash Wednesday service at Ealing Road M8thodist Church and a Maundy Thursday service 81 Neasden Methodist Church, which included a SyTnbolic washing of hands ceremony. In February 2025, the Circuit was matched with the Revd Simon Madhiba lo be stationed at Wembley Circuit from September 2025. In May 2025. as part of the Pentecost C81ebrations. the Circuit organi5ed a prayer walk over the Pentecost weekend. Members first joined the Brent Borough Deans, Pentecost worship at Sl Michael's Church on Friday. followed by a pr8yer walk on Saturday begiftning al Neasden, then Park Lane, Ealing Road, and concluding al Sudbury Melhodisl Chkjrch. At each stop, hospit8lrty was offered. and prayers were shared for the churches and their communities. The weekend concluded with all four churches shanng the same prayers tturing Peniecosi Sunday worship. The Circuit expresses gratitude lo all who participated especially those who look part in the walk - and to Anna, the Circuit Prayer Coordinator, for her organisation and lo the local churches for their support. A Circuit Farewell Service for the Presbyter, the Revd Nigel Wright, was held al Sudbury Methodist Church in July, followed by lunch provided by Ealing Road and Sudbury Methodist Churches. The service was well supported, and the Circuit Choir offered 8 heartfelt song of larewell and blessing. Both the presbyters continue lo hold monthly seTvi¢es al the neaY local MHA home$ al Kenbrook and River View. They are warmly welcomed by residents and statl alike.
Actlvltles conducted under thg guidance of the Circuit were as follows.. Park View Road Manse was refuthshed. and new tenants moved in. Park Lane Methodlst Church refurbished the flat previously occupied by the fom)er caretaker and family., new tenants have since taken Ltp residen¢e. A new leasing agreement was established wth Blossom Patch Nursery. which occupies the former Sudbury Neightx)urhood Centre building, following a revrew and adjustment lo market rate. Many Circuit members attended safeguarding Foundation and Advanced training ¢ourse$. Pasture Road Manse was refurbished and redecorated in preparation for the arrival of the Revd Simon Madhiba and his family in summer 2025. W•r*hl and Communicat40h wlth M¢mb•r$: Circuit members attended in large numbers to bid farewell to the Revd Nigel Wright at his farewell service at Sudbury Melhodisl Church. The service was led by the Revd Kido Baek and supported by the Circuit music band, featuring yOL¢ng people. and the Circuit choir. A number of Iranian asyEum seekers housed wlthin the Circuit area have been worshipping primarily al Park Lane Methodist Church. fwenty individuals allended baptismal classes and were baptised and confimied, with ftjrther classes planned. Manses: Park View Road Manse faced challenges during the year when tenants absconded from thé property in December 2025. The manse was subs8qu8nlly refurbished. and new tenanls have since moved in. Pasture Road Manse received decoration and minor repairs in preparation for the arrival of the Revd Simon Madhiba and his f8mily. The Circuit and the Zimbabwean Fellowship collaborated to fumish the property. Circuit A olntments: The part-lime Circuit Adminislralor Conned lo serve the Circuit throughout the year. The Circuit was matched wlth the Revd Simon Madhiba through direct slalioning as a MOCC (Minister of Other Churches and Conferen¢esl from Zimbabwe. He will serve the Circuit al 0.5 FTE with pastoral oversight of Ealing Road and Neasden Methodist Churches. The remaining 0.5 FTE will be dedicated lo his role as Chaplain to 811 Zimbabwean Fellowships wrthin the Connexion. From September 2025. the Superinlendenl Minister. the Revd Kido 88ek, will assume pastoral responsibility for Park Lane and Sudbury Methodist Churches to support the part- time nature of Revd Madhiba's Circuit 8ppoinlm8nt. The role of Circuit Safeguarding Officer remains vacant. Renewed efforts are underway lo fill this essenti81 position and ensure all safeguarding responsibilities continue lo be met.
2nd Wemble Bo sBri ade & Girls, Association We started back in September with 8 young people but gained 4more throvghoul the session So we ended up with 4 Anchors, 5juniors and 3 company. We now have Melissa (Peter's wife) who come5 lo help us, she is a leader frC 1st Hillingdon company. We closed the winter session with the young people making their Christingles and then going into the Ghapel for a short seNice. We have taken our young people bowling with the Battalion at Heathrow Bowl which they all enjoyed. We went to camp this year lo Standford Hill in Hampshire this included the church weekend e8mp where we had 31 campers including staff which was very good and all had a good lime sleeping in tents, playing games, treasure hunts and doing craft. We also had a good ovtside service on the Sunday which Rev. Kido look. Park Lane Melhodisl Church also supported the activities throughout the year with £2,000 donation which subsidised the registration signing fe8s for families. And then on Monday byhen the ¢endS went home, that Icft 21 including 3 young peoplo from church. We carried on with the Boys and Girls from 2nd Wembley and also the Girls from 1 st HillngdOn Girls, Brigade and 6 members of stsff. We had a lime of worship moming and evening throughout the week. The young people went swimming and horse riding. We went to Soulhsea for the day out where the older ones went to the D-Day Museum and the younger ones had fun al the fun fair. They went to the Petersfield and Alton to looked round the shops. We played lots of games- they all joined in and undertook a jigsaw of 1,000 piece5 which they found in a charity shop and they completed late Friday nighl.

REPORT (CONTINUED) FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 AUGUST2025 Investment Polic The investment of surplus funds is operated via the Central Finance Board ICFB) of the Methodist Church. CFB aims lo provide high quality investment seTrice seeking above average returns for long term investors, whilst ensuring that the securities held by all ils funds are in line with the ethical policy of the Melhodisl Church. The ¢ircuit has it funds held in a deposit account with CFB. The Restricted Fund which is mainly funds from sales of properties is managed by Trustees for Meth¢Jdist Purposes ITMCPI. These fund5 are o1$0 invested with CFB. It is now opportune for the Circuit as Managing Trustees to think how best these funds could be utilised for the benefit of the Mission. Rlsk Mana ement: The Circuit hopes to undertake a review of the risk policy and has prodL¢ced a Risk Register highlighting th@ various rigks facing the circuit and ehLirehe#, thè impart and Ihg. likp_lihnotl ttf it hapning. The main headings under which thes6 risks have been Categorised are.. Trustees, Responsibilities Memtjership and Mission Resources, People and Property Financial Legal These risks once acknowledged and agreed will be vieWed regularly to ensure effectivengss. The church treasurers have also been informed of the need for these risk assessments. 11 is hoped that all churches will undertake these as part of their compliance aclivilies. Financial Review: The Financial statements have been prepared in a¢¢ordan¢e with the charities SORP- A¢unting and Reporting by Charities. The Fund for Ministry l$ed wa5 126k. The interest earned on both reslri¢ted and unrestricted funds was £2k. Income from leasing of the manse at Park View amounted to 16.1k thereby increasing total income for the year to 160 6k The total circuit expenditure amounted to £196.1k. This included an amount of £2.3k for a levy made on the balances with TMCP as slated in the CPD of the Methodist Church and investment management fees. The funds carried forward at the end of the year We £13.1 k) unreslricled and £66.9k restricted. p The price value of units held with TMCP via as al 31 August 2025 was £32.382 compared to the previous year of £32.567. During the year 897 units were sold, hence al the end of the year there were 1,818 units worth £66.9k. The manse at 24 Park View has been re-leased out from Jun 2025 at £2,950 per month. Al property mattefs were managed, coordinated and supported by circuit stewards. As Christians, we have to take God's truth and mission foNard, carried and defended by those who have committed their lives to God's Son. 11 is an important task and an awesome responsibility and a profound privilege to have this commission. GENERAL Wembley Circuit of the Methodist Church consists of four churches wthin the connexion of Great Britain. The accounts are prepared in accordance with the Constitution Practice and Discipllne of the Methodisl Church IC P DI. Each Church, Circuit and District of the Methodist Church is a separate charity. Each holds excepted status under Government Statutory InstTument 2002 No 1598. The registration requirements of the new Charities Act of 2006 which came into force in November 2006 have not as yet been extended to cover all our churches although some churches have already registered. The circuit registered in 12 May 2009. The Circuit Managing Trustees are the members of the Circuit meeting. 2. ACCOUNTING POLICIES The financial accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluations of Investments and on an accruals basis. The accounts have been prepared in accordanc8 with the Constrtution and Practice an¢J Discipline of the Melhodisl Church, applicable accounting standards, the Statement of Recommenéed Practice, 'Accounting and Reporting by Charities" issued in March 2005 and the Chari118s Act 1993. Under certain exemptions applicable to the Melhodisl Church, the receipt and onward payment of monies for the District Assessment is not deemed to be part of the incoming resources of the circuit for the purposes of dgciding whether an independent extem81 examiner or an auditor should report on these accounts. Freehold Manses are shown al the historic cost of acquisition. Currently there are three manses housing two seNing ministers and the other leased out on short lem basis. It is the policy of the Circuit to endeavour to hold as free resarves an amount approximately equal to six months of likely expenditure. Unrestricted Fund cash resources surplus lo meet day to day needs are deposited with the Central Finance Board of the Melhodisl Church. Restricted Fund monies are deposited w7th The Trustees for Methodist Purposes who in turn deposit the funds with the Central Finance Board of the Methodist Church.

This is in accordance with the principles and policies adapted by the Melhodisl Connexion. Slip8ndiary Circuit Ministers are eligible lo join the Methodist Ministers, Pension Scheme IMMPSI. The MMPS is a funded defined benefit scheme maintained by The Methodist Church of Great Britain. As the Circuit is unable lo identify ils share of the underlwng assets and liabilities of the scheme, the Circuit has taken the advanla9e of the exemption in Financial Reporting Standard IFRSI 17, Retirement Benefits, and has accounted ils contributions to the scheme as if it were a defined contribution scheme. The pension costs forlhe scheme represent the contribution pay8ble by the Circuit in the year. The contribution rates are sel each year by the Methodist Conference.

STAFF The Circuit mel the stipends and expenses of the minister working in the Circuit during the year. The Circuil also employed lay worker responsible for 8dminislralive dutles across the circuit. All other work is done by volunteers. 4. PENSIONS Ml Melhodisl Ministers in the Circuit are members of the Methodist Ministers, Retirement Schgme. The Circuit contributes 25.617/0 of stipends to the fund. 5. RESTRICTED FUND This fLtnd receives any monies arising from the sale or disposal of any land or buildings which are local or circuit property. Capitsl monies in the fund can be used for the purposes of land and buildings,the replacement or repair of buildings and for mission purposes as agreed by the circuit. 11 is the policy of the circuil to make grants of up lo 10¥0 of the costs of any eligible scheme after Ihe relevant approva15 have be8n obtained. 6.
