Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the maln a¢hiÈvements of the charlty during the year Shahporan Islamic Centre Bristol is recognised as one of the main Islamic Centre in Bristol and rated as an open, welcoming centre for all ra￿8, nationalities and gender. We arrange Children Madarassah 4 time5 a day. A regularweekly session is organised for women only. We invite prestigious scholar to religious talk and create an open aÉmosphere for all ages. We organise Children SGhool Visit to Masjid as a part of interfaith harmony. We work closely with local police, loGal communty centre and a part of Bristol Muslim Cultural Society. We host meetings of different organisations in our premises. Most importantly, English is the language of communication in Masjid to include younger British born Muslims in all activities. We are involved to support lo local food centre. During COVID-19, our Mosque has organised 3 vaccine clinics inside its premises and offered 900 vaccines to local Muslim. We have been funded to participate few projeGts for health awareness to BAME ommunty in North Bristol. TAR March 2012
