## **Trustees Report 2022-23** 

We had a wonderful and varied season this year, marking our 40th Anniversary as an orchestra. We welcomed three new and fabulous soloists to play with us: Toby Hughes on Double Bass (including duetting in a Mozart aria sung by the Chairman), Alex Wide on French Horn, and Charlotte Saluste-Bridoux on Violin. We commissioned two new pieces - one by George Brown (our oboist and 'composer-in-residence'), and another by Jeremy Pike, the orchestra's founder, for the season finale. As well as this fitting tribute in this historic concert, we invited a number of local children to perform at the start of the season finale with us, continuing our strong outreach and connection to the local community.
