operate. Their contribution to the ongoing
success of the charity has been
outstanding throughout this FY. We were
lucky enough to welcome 3 new volunteers
to our team in this FY, but 3 others had left
the centre due to postings away.

Para 1.20 In May 2024, the centre held a Mosquito
event, the highlight of which was hosting
Colin Bell, a former RAF Mosquito pilot!
The event was very well attended by
visitors from all over the country and raised
several hundred pounds through donation
and sales.
Restoration of the Cold War cabin has
progresses with it being made watertight
and decorated internally. There are
currently plans to try and restore some sort
of electrical power to the cabin as the next
stage.
In September 2024 there was a Tornado
Event, which was attended by over 150
visitors and featured talks on the history of
the aircraft and operating it in various
conflicts. This event also saw various
donations of Tornado memorabilia gifted to
the centre.
The Centre was also donated a trail
Highball bouncing bomb some time ago, a
display stand was made enabling it to go
on display!
Elsewhere several hundred more articles
were catalogues and added into the
archive.

members. All are either current of former
members of the Royal Air Force or have
some association with RAF Marham.
