Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:a) The Promotion Of The Voluntary Sector Primarily In The City Of Westminster In Particular By Building The Capacity Of Charitable And Voluntary Organisations Working With Children And Young People And Providing Them With The Necessary Advice, Support, Information, Training And Services To Enable Them To Pursue Their Charitable Purposes And Improve The Efficiency And Management Of Their Resources. B) To Advance In Life And Relieve The Needs Of Young People Through Making Grants To Charities And Voluntary Organisations That Do Any Or All Of The Following: - The Provision Of Recreational And Leisure Time Activities Provided In The Interest Of Social Welfare, Designed To Improve Their Conditions Of Life And Increase Their Opportunities; And- Providing Support And Activities Which Develop Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Mature And Responsible Individuals.
