**Objects:** TO CONSERVE AND ENHANCE THE CHARACTERISTIC BEAUTY OF THE LANDSCAPES, BIODIVERSITY AND CULTURAL HERITAGE OF THE NORTH YORK MOORS FOR BENEFIT OF CURRENT AND FUTURE GENERATIONS OF PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN, WORK IN OR VISIT THE AREA, AND TO THIS END TO:(A) BRING TOGETHER PEOPLE AND ORGANISATIONS SHARING A LOVE OF AND CONCERN FOR THE NORTH YORK MOORS.(B) FOSTER GREATER UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF THE CULTURE, BIODVIERSITY, SCENERY AND ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL CONCERNS OF THE AREA AND PROVIDE A FORUM FOR BALANCED DISCUSSION OF THESE ISSUES. (C) SUPPORT RESEARCH OR PILOT SCHEMES EXPECTED TO FURTHER THE OVERALL OBJECT OF NYMA AND DISSEMINATE THE RESULTS OR OUTCOMES.(D) LIAISE WITH THE NORTH YORK MOORS NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS AS APPROPRIATE IN ORDER TO FURTHER THE OVERALL OBJECTS OF NYMA.(E) DO ALL SUCH OTHER LAWFUL THINGS IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE OBJECTIVES. THE AREA OF CONCERN TO NYMA SHALL BE THE NORTH YORK MOORS NATIONAL PARK AND ITS IMMEDIATE ENVIRONS TO THE EXTENT THAT THEY ARE RELEVANT TO THE OBJECTS OF NYMA.

**Activities:** The North Yorkshire Moors Association carries out activities which further the objectives of the North York Moors National Park, principally conservation of the natural environment and cultural heritage.
