A number of Emley Brass Band volunteers provide on-going teaching and training to other members of the band to aid and improve their musical skills and knowledge. Volunteers from the band also staff our main fundraising event, the Emley Real Ale Festival. Other Achievements and Performance SORP roferan The band gave a number of performances throughout the year at various types of events, organised by both the band and third parties, to large public audiences. This includes events with a long-running history in the community such as Emley Show, annual Remembrance events in Clayton West, Emley, and Cleckheaton, and the annual carol service at st Michael's Church, Emley. The band continues to be in high demand for events throughout the year, especially in the Christmas period.
