## **OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES**

The purpose of United As One Ministry is to lead a congregation for worship and other traditional religious activities. It is to provide Christian teachings that is focused on ISAIAH 61:1-4 and undertake other activities that are consistent with the Christian faith.

The Ministry’s first and foremost activity is to reach out and give hope through preaching and empowering lives through the word of God in church and through live broadcasts on social media. The ministry operates locally and through social media mostly in order to reach out to the multitudes who always tune in on our live broadcasts. From there we spread the purpose of the Ministry into reaching out to those who need help from food, clothing’s and any other needs that we can help with in our target country which is Fiji. This is where most of our financial spendings are going to at this period. The Ministry runs local church service every end of the month and weekly meetings on social media.

The Trustees are aware of the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on the public benefit under The Charities Act 2011 when we carried out our church service and other activities that are consistent with Christian faith. The Ministry has received overwhelming feed backs from people locally and from different countries in the world on how their lives have been impacted spiritually, emotionally and mentally through our church service and through reaching out and give hope on social media. When we carry out our church activities, we ensure that the word of God that is prepared will meet the congregation’s spiritual needs, prayer meetings are held in order to prepare the members or the attendees for this. In the Christian community most do look forward to sermons and teachings from the Bible to be empowered and this where the Ministry is reaching out to help in.

The activity of the Ministry is financially run by the Tithes and Offerings that is given by members of the Ministry. Although in this period there are months where there are no income and spendings came through and this is due to Covid where most of our small church community have been laid off work and have only what they have left was for their families. There is no contribution by volunteers or any social investment or grant making. We only arrange or run activities according to an amount that is agreed upon by the trustees of the Ministry to hold an activity at this period.

## **ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE**

## **WORSHIP AND PRAYER**

Since we are living in a time and age where digital platforms are not just being used for the news, entertainments etc, we as a Ministry believed that we’re called for this time and seasons to use this means of communication in order to preach the word of God to the multitudes out there in accordance with our Ministry’s objectives of leading a congregation of worship and other religious activities. All members of this ministry in the UK are spread out in different counties. So, the social media platforms work well for the Ministry.

We offered a ranged of prayer meetings every week on social media over the course of the year. That the members of the public that we were able to reach find both beneficial and spiritually fulfilling. Our Wednesday night weekly prayer provides an intimate and reflective time for us and those that tuned in as a time of worship.

In this financial year we have added most days in the week to our Church Calendar. This was done virtually, and this was also done due to the level of interest from our listeners and all the feedbacks that we have through our live Broadcasts. Because of Covid there were quite a lot of changes was made in the Ministry. The church elders and the trustees have added Friday every week to our weekly prayer meeting days, this has remained in our Calendar since 2019. In our Friday meetings in this period prayers are done virtually and has been appreciated much by our followers. That we continue to reach out to them regardless of this hard time. The change in the additional prayer day has been welcomed and received well by members of the church and the wider listeners.

In this covid period our small church families have rallied together to help each other out in terms of food and bills. It was great to help each other out at times like this. It was also a performance that the Ministry investigated at the beginning of Covid. So, we came up with the plan to help our families and our small church families first.

This year it was a great pleasure to welcome another new family to the church. They have welcomed and accustomed themselves quickly to the church’s routines and programmes. They have also welcomed a new post offered by our leaders within the Ministry that they have gladly say yes to and avail themselves in taking it for the Ministry. There is also a day in the week that is planned especially for this covid season where we as members of the Ministry do sit and have our own prayer meetings for the Ministry virtually not including our listeners.

This year we have reflect very well on the little achievements and performance that we have made. Due to covid, monthly church service that was arranged were all cancelled. The achievements that we have received on this period is through reaching out through social media platforms. Waves of people around the world have requested prayers at this hard time and it was the pleasure of the Ministry’s Prayer Team to carry this task on their behalf. It was a joy that we as a Ministry remained faithful to the purpose of the Ministry regardless of these hard times, we manage to still get the message of the Word of God to the multitudes out there who have been impacted through the different virtual platforms that we used in the Ministry.
