To advance the education of the public in the art of brass band music.
To develop public appreciation in the said art by the presentation of
concerts and similar activities. To promote and provide education and
training opportuntties for new brass and percussion instrumentalists.

Both the main band and the childrens band have continued to grow and
develop.
The childrens band have put on their own con￿rtS bolh in outdoor and
irKloor venues. In December 2023 the childrens band PLrt on a Christmas
cOn￿rt which was extremely well attended and gave them a great boost
of confiden￿. The children band also joined the main band in a charity
event for MIND. which integrated the two bands 50 the children could
play along with the adults. This gave the children a great boost of
Confiden￿ and pride. The childrens band have continued with their
musical professional development and have contirsued to progress
through their musical grade exams.

The main band have continued their musical support for local charitFes
and events including The Royal Marines Association, MIND, Jubilee
Celebrations and Hanley Cenotaph. These were carried out free of
charge. We also carried out three ¢oncerts the first our Octoberfest. the
second was Christmas Concert and the third was Poptastic 5 which took
place at The Jubilee Club in Trent Vale. We also performed on the
Pottery Throwdown Christmas Special, which gave the band a great
boost.
We have a busy year ahead with bookings and conorts and also mo
communty charity events.
We also have a thriving social side to the band which for our older
players is invaluable. Frrendships are flourishing and the band has a real
feeling of comradeship.

the Charity Commission on public benefft.

Brief ststement of the
charity's policy on reserves
We have ￿vieWed our reseNe policy and wtih how the band has grown
we feel that £12,000 is currently the correcl amount required. This would
allow the band to continue paying rent. utilities, insurance and licences
until the end of our lease rf no other income was produced. As the band
grows this figure will be reviewed annually.

We have re￿IVed a large amount of funding from Lewis Brothers Roofing
Ltd. The donations that they have given to us are for the purpose of
renovating a de￿Il¢t council building for the sole use for the band. On
completion of the works. having use of this building will allow us to
expand our charitable aims further into the local communty.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity ("the Trust") for the year ended 3110412024.
Responsibilities and As the chartty trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
