**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE ASSOCIATION SHALL BE:1) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AT JAFFNA CENTRAL COLLEGE THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SCHOLARSHIPS, GRANTS, PAYMENT OF FEES, TEACHING AIDS AND RECREATION EQUIPMENT FOR EDUCATION, SPORTS AND OTHER EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES BY BRINGING TOGETHER THE PAST PUPILS AND TEACHERS OF THE COLLEGE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM.2) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND SICKNESS AMONG MEMBERS OF THE TAMIL COMMUNITY IN SRI LANKA BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS, ITEMS AND SERVICES TO PEOPLE WHO ARE IN NEED OF SUCH ASSISTANCE.

**Activities:** Our Organisation is established to bring together the past pupils, teachers of Jaffna Central College and their families along with other wellwishers in the UK to function as a united body to support our community as well as provide support to our alma mater and current pupils achieve the best in education and sports.
