## **Activities**
## **Online Conference**
This was run over a weekend in March with presentations of papers, workshops and discussions. Attendees numbered a little less than 40. Videos of presentations are available on the IAVM YouTube channel. The decision was made that, due to the pandemic, the in-person conference would be postponed.
## **4[th] Proceedings**
The proceedings from the 4[th] International conference 2019 were published in soft copy and made available to members and contacts.
## **JNU Conference**
In April 2020, members of IAVM presented several papers at a large online conference on Vedic mathematics held at the Jawaharlal Nehru University, new Delhi.
## **IMI III**
In December, members of IAVM conducted online workshops during two weekends for the “Inspirational Maths from India” conference in the Philippines organised by Ike Prudente of Math-INIC.
## **IVMO – International Vedic Maths Olympiad**
This event was planned for August 2020 and was postponed twice. It was eventually run in September 2021.
## **Masterclasses**
In preparation for IVMO, James Glover produced eight Masterclass videos demonstrating various Vedic Maths techniques. These were aimed at helping local Regional Coordinators and teachers together with their students. These are available on the IAVM YouTube channel.
## **KSV India**
In May 2020, a series of teacher training workshops was given by trustees of IAVM to teachers at the Kalkeri Sangeet Vidyalaya in Kerala.
## **Website**
An Indian website design company, NeedInfoTech, was commissioned to redesign and reconfigure the IAVM website. In hindsight, a better company should have been chosen as NeedInfoTech turned out to be fairly incompetent and took many months to carry out the task.
