OBJECTS AND ACTIVITIES OF THE CHARITY

Peninsula Gospel Partnership (PGP) is a partnership of local Christians with a shared vision, a network of local churches, promoting the gospel, sharing good practice, facilitating training and close contact with other regional Gospel Partnerships. PGP is unashamedly evangelical.

Central to the purpose of PGP is proclaiming the message of the cross as God's way of saving people from his coming judgement.. It is the conviction of PGP that as the Bible is taught in the power of the Holy Spirit, God’s voice is heard and sinners are brought to repentance and faith. It is primarily through the local church that believers are brought to faith in Christ and believers are built up in Him.

PGP has the following aims:

  1. To strengthen local churches and encourage them to contend for Biblical Christianity

  2. To train members of existing congregations for a wide range Bible-teaching gospel ministries in local churches

  3. To encourage suitably gifted men and women to consider going into fill time gospel ministry

  4. To promote schemes for ministry trainees (apprentices)

  5. To stimulate or plant congregations in areas where gospel ministry is weak or non-existent
