AUG 2022
Two articles were published in NAQEZ magazine 3. NAQEZ is holding a conference in Choma on 4th/5th October which we have been invited to attend.
Beth and Lisa visited Siavonga to deliver classroom based workshops and assist schools in drafting well-being policies.
SEP 2022
Held a Trustees meeting to discuss annual reports to the Charities Commission. Sue informed us of the details of a legacy that one of her clients had bequeathed to Giakonda Solar Schools. This will have a big impact on funds.
OCT 2022
It was a great honour to be invited to attend the inaugural conference of NAQEZ Southern Province in Choma .Wendy addressed distinguished guests, including Members of Parliament. Daniel Mangwende from Dibbwi Primary School and Francis Kanene from St Vincent de Paul School demonstrated how they used Raspberry Pi and RACHEL in their schools. Article in NAQEZ magazine Issue 5.
NOV 2022
We were very pleased to have been awarded £1000 grant from the Oakdale Trust. The money will be used to assist Kabuyu School with solar power. We are looking to raise additional funds to complete this project.
Hub Cymru Africa held an Ethical Festive Market. Our trustee Wendy was invited to speaking at a panel discussion. We made useful contacts and received a donation displaying a stall. We had an article published in Education in Zambia magazine Issue 6.
DEC 2022
Kabuyu school shared photos of their Code Club.
JAN 2023
WK addressed Henllys WI and received a small fee for donation to our charity.
FEB 2023
Received positive feedback from several solar schools. Held a trustee meeting to discuss future funding and visits.
MAR 2023
Computer Science Teachers Association Zambia (COSTAZ) held a conference at ST Vincent de Paul School in Monze. One of the items on the agenda was the setting up of Code Clubs in Schools. Macloud from Kabuyu and Bridget Muyuni demonstrated Raspberry Pi and physical computing.

MAY 2023
James of worldpossible.org sent a resounding endorsement of the part HK has played leading to RACHEL-Pi being used globally.
CONGRATULATIONS to Howard Kirkman on winning a Lifetime Achievement Award at Hub Cymru Africa Summit.
On 29th May our Zambian partner teachers held a conference at Siavonga Teachers’ Resource Centre to introduce Physical Computing.Farai, Macloud and Francis gave demonstrations and led hands-on workshops.
Trustees Sue and Andy, and volunteer Harry travelled to Zambia to give their support.
The day was well attended by teachers from Siavonga and other parts of Southern province.
On 31[st] May our founder Howard Kirkman passed away.
JUNE 2023
WK addressed Richmond Ladies Fellowship and received £40 for funds. Many donations received in memory of Howard.
JULY 2023
Two articles were published in Education in Zambia Issue 9.
We received a very generous legacy of £19943 from the estate of Lesley Walsh. The money will be used to fund solar power and a computer hub for Sinandambwe Primary School and, (together with money from Oakdale trust,) solar power and computers for Kabuyu School
AUG 2023
Both in UK and in Zambia, preparations were made for the upcoming solar installations and Physical Computing Conference.
