DURING THE YEAR, THE **charity’s policy on reserves** EXPENDITURE WAS £200 FOR VENUE HIRE WHICH GENERATED A SURPLUS OF £3,324. TOTAL SURPLUS FUNDS HELD WERE £70,971. THESE WERE UNRESTRICTED DONATIONS AND THE TRUSTEES DO NOT HAVE A POLICY OF RETAINING RESERVES, BUT ALL THE SURPLUS FOR THE PERIOD WILL BE USED FOR FUTURE CHARITABLE PROJECTS AND ADMINISTRATION COSTS.
