## **Administrative Information:**
Come and See Ministries is situated in The New Barnet, Hertfordshire. It is part of the Universal, historic and mystical Body of Christ known as the Church. The correspondence address is 6 Westbrook Square, Barnet EN4 9AX.

## **Structure, governance and management**
The method of admission of Church members is set out in the Ministries Constitution.
## **Objectives and Activities**
Come and See Ministries members have the responsibility of co-operating with the incumbent, Pastor Roseline, in promoting the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.
## **Achievements and Performance**
There are 50 members on the church roll, 12 of whom are not resident within the borough. The church services have returned to normal after the pandemic. However, we are hopeful that membership will increase in the future.
## **Review of the year**
The Trustees met once during the year with an attendance rate of 100%.
Church services were held on Sundays in a rented hall at 97 East Barnet Road, but bible studies on Wednesdays, and night vigils every last Friday of the month were held via zoom.
The School of Ministry took place every Thursday of the week via zoom where those aspiring to be ordained ministers are taught the word of God. Come and See Ministries in collaboration with the Global School of Ministries on 21 November 2021 Ordained Nine members into various offices, Pastor, Evangelist, Teacher, Minister.

## **Financial Review**
Come and See Ministries' balance includes £84,182 retained in restricted funds account as part of the building funds for the church as agreed by the trustees. The bank balance at 31st December 2021 was £224,036 (2020: £170,060). Funds are closely monitored by the trustees.
## **Reserves Policy**
It is our policy to maintain a balance on unrestricted funds, which equates to approximately six months unrestricted payments, to cover emergency situations that may arise from time to time. The balance of £139,854 held as unrestricted funds at the year end should be sufficient to cope with immediate demand.
## **Statement of Trustees' Responsibilities**
The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records that disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the church and to enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the guidelines of the Charity Commissions of United Kingdom. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
The trustees are responsible for the maintenance and integrity of the corporate and financial information included on the charitable company’s website. Legislation in the United Kingdom governing the preparation and dissemination of financial statements may differ from legislation in other jurisdictions.

## **Independent examiner’s report to the charity trustees of Come and See Ministries, Barnet.**
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity for the year ended 31 December 2021.
## **Responsibilities and basis of report**
As the charity trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Charity's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
## **Independent examiner’s statement**
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
- accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or
- the accounts do not accord with the accounting records
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
