Para 1.20 | The COVID-19 pandemic was a challenging time for everyone. However, there were some young people who could not aford food to feed themselves. We raised money to to give them the essentials that they needed. The coronavirus crisis was also pushing thousands of young people to the brink of homelessness. We raised money to support with nightly shelters to help keep them safe, and clothing to keep them warm. |

We were able to provide funding for 46 nights in a London shelter for young

people who were street homeless. This
kept them in a safe environment for
the night and lowered any associated
anxiety they may have had due to
their circumstance.
We also provided 25 clothes and 25
sleeping bags to keep them warm.
We raised £1050 to spend on food to
donate to those young people who
were struggling with buying food. This
meant that they would not go hungry
as they had what they needed to make
a meal.
Five young black men were funded to
complete a Culture & History course.
Through gaining the knowledge on this
course, it empowered them, as well as
inspired and built confidence.
